FLIES

  • House fly, is a well-known cosmopolitan pest of both farm and home. They are always associated with humans or the activities of humans.

  • They feed on fecal matter, discharges from wounds and sores, sputum, and all sorts of moist decaying matter such as spoiled fish, eggs and meat.

  • House fly breeds and multiplies anywhere if it has an access to waste products.

  • They are not only a nuisance, but also transmit diseases to humans, including typhoid fever, dysentery, cholera, poliomyelitis, anthrax, leprosy and tuberculosis etc.,
